#10 Kansas Back in Win Column After Rout of North Carolina State
The tenth-ranked Kansas Jayhawks snapped a two-game losing streak with a 75-60 win over North Carolina State on Saturday afternoon at Allen Fieldhouse.
Zeke Mayo’s season-high 26 points and Hunter Dickinson’s double-double (21 points, 14 rebounds) led the way for the Jayhawks, who enjoyed their return to their home floor after a pair of road losses at Creighton and Missouri.
Kansas stormed to a 15-0 lead and never trailed in the game, but the Wolfpack stubbornly hung in the game for most of the night, only fading away late in the second half after Dickinson scored eight consecutive points as part of his big night.
It was a milestone contest for Jayhawk point guard Dajuan Harris, who entered the 1,000 career points club with a layup early in the second half. Harris had 15 points in the game and also handed out six assists.
The Jayhawks are back in action next Sunday when they host Brown.
