18-year-old killed in car crash Friday morning

The Shawnee County Sheriff’s office has released the name of the victim involved in a fatal crash in NE Shawnee County on Friday morning.

18-year-old Hannah Blick, of Valley Falls, was driving a Pontiac Grand Am eastbound in the 1600 block of NE 46th St.  Upon investigation, the Grand Am crossed over into the westbound lane and struck a Chevy Traverse driven by Bradyn Rottler of Topeka.

Blick was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries, where she was later pronounced dead.

Rottler was taken to a hospital and treated for minor injuries.
