2019 St. Jude Dream Home open to the public this weekend

The 2019 St. Jude Dream Home will be open to the public this weekend for the first time since construction finished. The Dream Home, located in the Lauren’s Bay Estates area, has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, an ample finished basement with a built-in bar, and a cozy, covered porch area with a fireplace.

Mark Boling Construction was the builder selected this year to build this ranch-style home, which is estimated at 3,600 square feet.

“Mark and Karen Boling have put their whole hearts into the 2019 Topeka St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway”, said Lydia Chapman, Development Representative for ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. “They are incredible members of this community and we are lucky to have them as part of this campaign.”

The Home will be open from 9 am until 5 pm on Saturdays and from noon until 5 pm on Sundays through Sunday, June 9, 2019.  Everyone who tours the house will have a special opportunity to win a $10,000 prize package from the Furniture Mall of Kansas.

“Anyone who visits the home will be able to enter for free to win a $10,000 shopping spree at Furniture Mall of Kansas”, said Chapman. “Furniture Mall of Kansas is not only donating a shopping spree, but they spent countless hours picking out the beautiful pieces to stage the home.  Owner Jeff Winter, Designer Sarah Williams and many more are doing amazing things for the Topeka St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway.”

The Dream Home is part of a giveaway organized by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® where attendees can enter to win the home and other high-end prizes by reserving a $100 raffle ticket. All funds raised through the program will help ensure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food.

There are only 7500 total tickets for the Dream Home available and those numbers are dwindling by the day.

The St. Jude Dream Home will be given away on June 13, 2019.
