Every week of the high school football season, Dan Lucero chats with the eight city head football coaches to get a preview of their upcoming game on the 580 Preps Coaches Club. This week, because of a scheduling conflict with Royals baseball, the Coaches Club aired Thursday night prior to Topeka High’s game against Wichita Heights; hence why Trojan head coach Jason Filbeck does not appear on this week’s episode. The Trojans defeated the Falcons 27-14 to move to 2-0.
