The Hayden girls dropped a road contest to Piper, the #2 ranked team in class 4A by the KBCA, 51-43.


Washburn Rural, the #2 ranked team in class 6A in the KWCA rankings, can now claim victories over the #1 and #3 ranked teams in dual action this season. They beat third-ranked Blue Valley Southwest in a home dual last night, 36-30, with David Huckstep’s pinfall victory at 285 pounds providing the winning margin.

Seaman took on Shawnee Mission West in a dual and won it handily, 72-9.


Hayden brought home top honors at the Emporia Invitational:

Colton O’Bray took first in the 200 freestyle and Hayden’s 400 freestyle relay team placed first as well.
