Armed robbery reported in Lawrence Tuesday morning

Lawrence Police are investigating a convenience store robbery Tuesday morning.
According to a release, officers were called to Wood Oil at 920 North 2nd around 6:20 a.m.
A male victim reported a white male suspect, armed with what appeared to be a firearm, wearing a dark mask and dark
clothing, pointed the weapon at the victim while demanding money. The suspect fled the area southbound on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
Lawrence Police are asking anyone who knows anything about the robbery to call Crime Stoppers of Lawrence and Douglas County at (785) 843-TIPS.
