Two arrests have been made related to a shooting that took place Tuesday morning in Topeka.
Police say 18-year-old Alex Marin was arrested and booked into jail for conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary.
Officers were called just before 4 a.m. Tuesday to the 1300 Block of SW Caledon for a report of an attempted robbery with a gunshot wound victim. The 36-year-old male victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Nineteen-year-old Antonio Beltran is being held in the case as well. His suggested charges are attempted first degree murder, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated robbery, and aggravated burglary.
