Arrest made in Saturday fatal shooting in Topeka

A Topeka man has been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting over the weekend.

Twenty-nine-year-old Kristoffer Lee Klesath was arrested just before 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in connection to the shooting death of 34-year-old Darton A. Fields II.

Fields was found shot at 1235 SW Huntoon just before 9:30 p.m. Saturday. He was taken to a local hospital where he died.

Klesath is being held for 1st Degree Murder, Aggravated Robbery, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
