The Kansas Jayhawks are headed to Salt Lake City for the first weekend of the NCAA tournament, which was revealed on Sunday afternoon. KU is the No. 4 seed in the Midwest region, meaning if the Jayhawks advance past the first weekend they’ll head to the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo. for the Sweet 16.

Kansas is set to face 13-seeded Northeastern on Thursday in Salt Lake City, with a potential matchup against the winner of five seed Auburn and 12 seed New Mexico State in the Round of 32.

After the bracket was revealed, Kansas coach Bill Self and the Jayhawks met with the media to discuss their seeding, matchups and location.
