The weather is heating up and so are the Ichabod baseball and softball teams.

The final few weekends have been very good to the Ichabods.

The softball team has won 8 of their last 11 and the baseball team has won six straight games.

The Ichabod baseball team has turned into a scoring machine during their six game streak. The streak started with a win against SBU  17-1, then beat Missouri Southern State 10-3. They swept Fort Hays State in three games winning  7-6, 16-8 and 13-2. Then to continue their winning streak they got a come from behind win over Northwest Missouri State on Tuesday 6-4.

The baseball team takes on Emporia State at Falley Field on Thursday, Friday and Saturday for a huge three game series.

The softball team stands at 13-5 and in third place in the MIAA standings.

The Ichabods split their last two double headers against UNK and Fort Hays state. The Ichabods now head to the road for their final two weeks. Eight straight road games to finish the regular season.
