The Washburn Ichabods will return to Yager Stadium for the first time in 670 days when the will face Central Missouri on Thursday, Sept. 9 at 6 p.m.
The Ichabods are coming off a 76-12 win over the Lincoln Blue Tigers on Sept. 2 in Jefferson City, Mo.
Central Missouri dropped its season opener to Pittsburg State 35-16 at home.
Both the Ichabods and the Mules received votes in this week’s AFCA Coaches Poll.
Central Missouri was tied for second with Fort Hays State and received one first-place vote in the 2021 MIAA Preseason Coaches’ Poll. The Mules were also tabbed second in the MIAA Preseason Media Poll and received a first-place vote.
