Brett Veach has been a very busy man over the last week.
The first move was releasing outside linebacker Justin Houston.
On Monday night the Kansas City Chiefs General Manager signed free agent safety Tyrann Mathieu to a three year contract.
On Tuesday night Veach traded Dee Ford to the San Francisco 49ers.
The two best pass rushers for the Chiefs in 2018 are no longer with the club.
Veach traded Ford to the 49ers for a 2020 second round pick.
Ford also got the long-term deal he wanted.
