K-State Blown Out by Oklahoma State

The road losing streak for the Kansas State Wildcats reached 13 games with a 79-66 loss to Oklahoma State in Stillwater on Tuesday night.

The Cowboys broke the game open by closing the first half on a 15-0 run to take a 43-24 lead into the locker room. They would lead the Wildcats by as many as 21 points in the second half as they cruised to the victory.

Coleman Hawkins led the Wildcats with 18 points. David N’Guessan posted a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Oklahoma State big man Abou Ousmane dominated K-State throughout the night, finishing with a game-high 27 points.

The loss drops the Wildcats to 7-7 on the season and 1-2 in the Big 12. They host #12 Houston on Saturday afternoon.
