KHP identifies two people who died after being hit by snow plow near KSU

A snowplow has killed two pedestrians in Kansas after winter storm coated roads across parts of the Midwest.

The collision involving a Riley County plow truck happened shortly after 5 a.m. on Friday.

The KHP reported a the snow plow, driven by 65-year-old Lawrence J. Gassman, was westbound on U.S. 24  in the right lane and struck two pedestrians identified as  22-year-old Anthony Stephen Toler and 21-year-old  Jayden J. Rosa, both of Manhattan, who were walking westbound in the right lane.

Both Toler and Rosa were pronounced dead at the scene.
