KSHSAA Makes Changes to State Championships

Mother Nature has made life very difficult for student athletes across the state during.state championships in softball, baseball, soccer and track and field.

All of these changes and postponements are moved to tomorrow.

All running events are postponed for Friday, except the 4A, 5A and 6A 3200 meter runs! We will resume all other running events at 8:00am on Saturday morning with all being timed finals!

The state title game and season long rubber match between Shawnee Heights and Bishop Carroll will be moved to Saturday.

5A softball championship game between Shawnee Heights and Carroll postponed to 10 am Saturday.

The semifinal game between Topeka Seaman baseball and Bishop Carroll will be moved to Saturday.

@KSHSAA 5A State Baseball will resume at 10 am Saturday morning. @BCCHS_baseball and @SeamanSports will resume their game in the top of the third at 0-0. Winner plays @STAsaints at approximately noon for champ.

State title game between Free State and Washburn Rural will be moved to tomorrow. Free State leads Washburn Rural 1-0 thru 3.1 innings.

6A State Softball is suspended for today. Play will resume tomorrow at 10:00 am.

Silver Lake and Holton will face each other tomorrow after the first game in class 3A for Softball
