The MIAA released the 2019 women’s basketball championship bracket. The official bracket is available here.

The association’s regular-season champion, Fort Hays State, will be the top seed. The Tigers await the winner of the eighth-seeded Nebraska Kearney and ninth-seeded Missouri Western which tips-off Wednesday, March 6 at 6 p.m. FHSU and the winner of the eight/nine-seeded match-up will be on Thursday, March 7 at 6 p.m.

Central Missouri is the second seed and will play the winner of the seventh-seeded Central Oklahoma and tenth-seeded Missouri Southern. UCO and MSSU will be the final game on Wednesday, March 6 with game time set for 8:15 p.m. The Jennies and the winner of the seven/ten-seeded match-up will be Thursday, March 7 at 8:15 p.m.

Washburn earned the fourth-seed and drew fifth-seed Emporia State. The rivals square off on Friday, March 8 at 6 p.m. The third-seed belongs to last year’s defending tournament champion, Lindenwood and the sixth-seed went to Pittsburg State. The Lions and Gorillas will be the 8:15 p.m. game on Friday, March 8.
