Osage County detectives are interviewing a man arrested after a chase early Monday morning in Topeka.

Police were called to the area of the SW 37th Street Walmart around 12:30 a.m. looking for a gray Honda four-door with a white male driver.

Officers saw the vehicle and attempted to stop it. The driver refused to stop and initiated a pursuit. He then lost control and wrecked the vehicle in the 4200 block of SE Adam and fled on foot. He was caught shortly thereafter and taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the accident.

He was being sought by Osage County authorities for crimes committed there. Those officers are interviewing him and his passenger this morning. No names have been released.
