One person hurt in Monday accident on Highway 24 near Silver Lake

A rollover accident sent one person to the hospital after being freed from their vehicle.

Sheriff’s officers and Silver Lake Fire and Police were sent to an accident on Highway 24 just west of Silver Lake just after 9:45 p.m. Monday.

The vehicle went off the road, flipped several times going over a creek, and ending up in a field.

The woman inside has not been publicly identified. The accident is still under investigation.
