Police investigating Friday assault

Topeka Police are trying to figure out why a man was cut, but they aren’t getting much help from him.

Officers were called just before 1:15 Friday afternoon to the 1500 block of SW Fillmore, where they found a 45-year-old man with a non life-threatening cutting wound. The man was taken to a Topeka hospital, where he is stable.
