Shawnee County Deputies hunting for suspect

The Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office is still looking for a burglary suspect who got away on Sunday.
Twenty-three-year-old Tanner James Thompson was taken into custody following a traffic stop in the 4500 block of SE Oak Bend Drive around 3:00 a.m. Sunday on a felony warrant for burglary as well as other traffic-related charges.
Thompson escaped during the investigation, and an extensive search continues in the area. Thompson is a white male, 6’0” 175 lbs. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and black pants.
