Shooting Tuesday afternoon sends one to hospital, no one caught yet

A late-afternoon shooting Tuesday in southeast Topeka sent one man to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Topeka Police say they heard shots in the area of the 800 block of SE Rice Road around 4:20 and spotted a vehicle about five minutes later at I-70 and Rice Road. A passenger inside was wounded.
