Teen turns himself in related to shooting

A 16-year-old turned himself in on Saturday for what police say was his role in the shooting death of another teen.

Topeka Police say Zachary Jacob McFall was taken to the Juvenile Department of Corrections on an expected charge of First Degree Murder in a shooting that took place in the 400 block of SE 37th Street on Thursday.

Another 16-year-old died from injuries after being shot near 37th and Pennsylvania around 3:40 p.m.  July 25. That teen’s name was not released.
