The Washburn Baseball and Softball Coaches Show

The Ichabod baseball and softball teams continue to stay busy and look to improve in the early portion of the season.

The Ichabod softball team started out with a rough patch, losing three one run games down in Flordia but bounced back with a four game winning streak in Bentonville, Arkansas to make their record 5-7 on the year.

Washburn will be playing at home this weekend for the Emporia State tournament as for the first time the Ichabods will use their new field to help out other schools in the early portion of the season.

Hear from Head Coach Brenda Holaday about the first two weekend trips for the Ichabods. 

The baseball team currently stands 6-6 on the year and had some closes losses in the GLVC/MIAA challenge this past weekend.

The Ichabods will be heading to Lawrence to for a four game series against Regis University.
