Threat against Topeka High School unfounded; police thank public for assistance

A social media post Sunday caused Topeka Police to investigate what was initially thought to be a threat to Topeka High School.

Officers talked to a juvenile male about the post and there is no current threat of violence to the school as a result.

Police did express their appreciation for the information given them by all the community members who came together to be sure this student was found and interviewed about the post.
