Topeka Man Arrested On Drug, Weapons Charges Monday

Topeka police continue to rack up drug and weapons arrests early in 2019.
Around 7:30 p.m. Monday, officers stopped a vehicle in the 700 block of SW Fairlawn and smelled marijuana. They searched the vehicle and found marijuana, methamphetamines, heroin and a stolen firearm.
Thirty-seven-year-old Kourtney Grayson was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Heroin, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Stolen Property and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
Monday’s arrest is the 14th Felon in Possession of a Firearm case so far this year for the Topeka Police Department.
