A Topeka man is behind bars on burglary, attempted kidnapping and child endangerment charges.

Twenty-two-year-old Andrew Kobel was sought after a Saturday morning domestic disturbance call in the 500 block of SW Saline Street in Topeka. The police found Kobel near the house Sunday afternoon just before 3 p.m. Kobel ran into the house and stayed there for over an hour before he surrendered.

Kobel was booked into jail on suspicion of committing aggravated burglary, attempted kidnapping, battery (domestic) and child endangerment along with interference for running in the house and refusing to exit.
