David Schemm, State Executive Director of the Kansas Farm Service Agency, joined us on Thursday’s Ag Issues program. Schemm gave an update on the Market Facilitation Program for Kansas farmers. He also talked about recent software updates that took place a couple of weeks ago and one to be coming soon to help those producers who have been delayed in signing up for MFP in 2019. He also talked about the recent opening of the signup period for WHIP+ disaster relief program.
