Roger McEowen, Kansas Farm Bureau Professor of Agricultural Law and Taxation at the Washburn University School of Law joined us on Monday’s Ag Issues program.  He focused in on three different topics that included soil erosion and the Constitution and whether soil erosion poses a constitutional issue.  McEowen also looked negligence and looked at the question of what is a reasonable and prudent farmer. He also looked at wills and the fact that in ag settings, challenges to wills sometimes arise. Specifically, McEowen looked at in those cases, what does “undue influence” mean?
