This past Saturday, Topeka Police caught two different felons with firearms.

The first was Saturday afternoon just before 4 p.m. in the 1200 block of SE 37th St. When they pulled a vehicle over for expired tags, they found 40-year-old Lamar Moss with a gun and marijuana. Moss is a registered violent offender with the state for second-degree murder.

The second was just after 8:30 p.m. in the 2300 block of SE Bellview. Shots were fired and police say they were from a gun possessed by 24-year-old Gleand Lee Brock III. Brock was arrested on Felon in Possession of a Firearm, two counts of Aggravated Assault, a Felony Warrant from Arkansas, Criminal Damage, Theft and Interference charges.
