Injury accident closes Highway 75 in Jackson County

An accident between a passenger car and a semi sent one person to a Topeka hospital Tuesday morning.
According to Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse, an accident took place just before 6 a.m. on U.S. Highway 75 just north of 286th.
A northbound semi and a southbound Ford Fusion collided head-on about a quarter-mile north of 286th Road.
Both lanes of the highway were closed well into the morning. The driver of the Fusion was taken to a Topeka hospital. The two semi occupants were okay.
