Shawnee County offices to open at 10 a.m. Wednesday

The Shawnee County Courthouse, all Offices and all Annexes will not open until 10:00 am Wednesday morning (1/23/2019) due to significant wintry travel conditions and the low temperatures forecasted according to Shawnee County Board of County Commission Vice-Chairperson Bill Riphahn.
Shawnee County District Court reports that they will also not open until 10:00 am Wednesday morning (1/23/2019). Jurors should report at 10:00 am Wednesday morning.
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for Shawnee County until 6:00 am Wednesday morning, with temperatures forecast to be in the upper teens near dawn.
