Every week, we talk with standout high school athletes in Topeka who have made their names known through their contributions on the field, the court or wherever they compete. 580 WIBW and 580 Sports Talk thank Lewis Toyota for their continued support of high school athletes in Topeka.

This week, we’re featuring Washburn Rural senior soccer standout Devon Rustchmann, who’s helped lead the Junior Blues program to a 3-0 start to the year. Through three games, Devon already has seven goals and a pair of assists. We spoke with Devon about his hot start, taking over as a team leader, his soccer future and more.
