Stop number four on the 2019 Shawnee County Football Tour allows us to check in with the Topeka West Chargers.
LAST YEAR: It was a tough go for the Chargers, who finished with just one win for the third consecutive season as injuries and inconsistency plagued the team as the campaign wore on.
PLAYERS TO WATCH: The Chargers want to get better on defense and have two senior linchpins they hope will lead that improvement in playmaking linebacker Joseph Randles and defensive back Dylan Wells. On offense, sophomore Mikael Glenn can be dangerous in whichever ways the Chargers get him the ball, perhaps as the quarterback.
